Helichrysum Italicum is a flowering plant in the Asteraceae family, native to the dry, rocky, and sandy regions of the Mediterranean.

Often referred to as the curry plant due to the distinctive aroma of its leaves, it is also commonly known as Italian strawflower or immortelle.

The plant features woody stems at the base and can grow to heights of 60 cm (24 inches) or more.
