Ambrinol 95 PRG from IFF, the purest available form of ambrinol at 95% purity, plays a vital role in the scent profile of natural ambergris.
This potent and exclusive ingredient, known for its luxurious qualities exudes the elegant tonalities of aged natural ambergris tincture, with tobacco, leathery nuances and the power of oceanic seaweed notes supported with a warm animalic, musky dry down.
Suitable for enhancing various fragrance genres, including woody, oriental, chypre, and floral compositions, Ambrinol 95 imparts authenticity, richness, intricacy, and structure.
This material is best used in small amounts. Even the smallest of traces of Ambrinol 95 will add naturalness, depth, complexity and texture to a composition. Typical use would be trace to 0.1% for most applications and a more affordable option of this material at a 1% dilution can be obtained here
This raw material is extremely expensive and impossible to buy in pack sizes under 4.5kg from the manufacturer.
It’s incorporation can elevate a labdanum-centered amber blend into an authentic ambergris impression.
Cheaper synthetic alternatives exist but lack the same olfactory appeal.
