Cade rectified oil is a very distinct fragrance material used in perfume making. It’s powerful aroma is characterised by its smoky, woody, and slightly medicinal scent.
Cade oil adds depth and complexity to perfumes, creating a unique olfactory experience. It’s tar-like, woody and bonfire smoky and blends well with camphoraceous, earthy, floral, spicy, citrus and woods notes.
This strong oil is most commonly used in products that are designed to aid skin and scalp conditions, due to it’s antiseptic properties. It also used to relieve symptons of fatigue and promote a sense of well-being and calm.

IFRA: This is the rectified oil and not the IFRA banned crude material Juniper Tar. The rectified oil does however contain the following substances restricted by IFRA: Benzopyrene & Benzanthracene, Eugenol, Iso Eugenol, P-Creosol, Cedrene, Furfural, Dihydroeugenol but complies with the latest IFRA specification.
