Citronellol is a colourless liquid. It is soluble in alcohol and Propylene Glycol, but not in Glycerine. It is slightly soluble in water and miscible with fragrance and flavour oils.

So before I started working with fragrance I used to think that Citronellol was simply citric i.e. the smell of lemon. Here is where i brought this to get a feel and work at the time on my formulation, unaware of not much in the fragrance world. Upon receiving this, my nose was expecting just as i described, thay citrus lemon scent. How absolutely wrong was i. My eyes popped out their sockets and off I went to do research to find out that for years ive misunderstood what Citronellol is. Nowadays im fully aware of what this material is capable of and again the quality from these guys are 5 star.
