Dimethyl Octanol is a fragrance and flavour ingredient commonly used in perfumes, cosmetics, and household products.

It is a saturated Terpenic Alcohol, derived from Geraniol through hydrogenation.

Useful in a variety of applications; Dimethyl Octanols’ outstanding stability makes it an indispensable ingredient for all functional utilisations including detergents.

Used in White Floral, Rose and Citrus fragrance compositions. Provides a fresh and natural rose note to a fragrance.

Commonly used in soaps, lotions, and shampoos due to its fresh and pleasant scent.

Often used in combination with Citronellol, Geraniol and Nerol.
