Methyl Laitone
Methyl Laitone is an extremely powerful spiro-lactone developed by Givaudan.
It adds a creamy, fruity volume to various accords, offering cosmetic body to white flower notes like jasmine, gardenia, tuberose, and ylang ylang, as well as fruity accords such as peach and osmanthus.
It imparts a milky quality when combined with sandalwood, and becomes particularly intriguing and versatile when paired with coumarin and hay notes.
Notably, its dry note stands out, especially on both humid and dry fabric.
