However, it should be noted that it is not a complete substitute for oakmoss on its own. Nevertheless, this beautifully versatile material plays a vital role as one of the key odour components in Mousse de Chene Absolu, otherwise known as oakmoss absolute.

Mousse éternelle is not only cheaper but also possesses a much cleaner scent compared to traditional Oakmoss.

Without the restrictions of Oak Moss, the material is a crytalline powder. notably long-lasting and offers incredible fixative properties to any blend.
