AAG 10
Allyl amyl glycolate is an ester compound formed by the reaction of allyl alcohol and amyl glycolic acid. The compound’s ester linkage plays a key role in its aromatic properties.
It has a characteristic fruity, pineapple, sweet, and floral odour.
It is typically used to impart a sweet, slightly citrusy scent to perfumes, cosmetics, and personal care products.
It is generally considered safe for use in regulated amounts in various consumer products, though, like many esters, it can be irritating in concentrated forms.
Very strong, fruity, galbanum with a pineapple modification.
Adds a unique, modern sparkle to any fragrance.
Together with Ambroxan and Dihydromyrcenol it forms the basis for aquatic fougeres and modern chypres.
Used in relatively low doses and normally in conjunction with other fruity molecules.
Commonly used in fine fragrance, personal care, fabric care and home care products.
