Sylvamber is a powerful modern woody-amber material, combining the dry elegance of cedarwood with radiant warmth, subtle powdery softness and a smooth, enveloping amber character.

In fragrance creation, Sylvamber is particularly valued for its ability to strengthen woody, amber and oriental structures while adding fullness, diffusion and lasting power.

It blends beautifully with musks, resins, spices, florals, leather notes and contemporary woods, helping to create everything from luminous woody florals to dark amber, tobacco and modern masculine accords.

Its exceptional persistence makes it an elegant foundation material, extending the life of a fragrance while smoothing and connecting the composition around it.

Used with restraint, it introduces subtle warmth and refined woody texture; at more prominent levels, it can form the distinctive cedar-amber signature at the heart of the fragrance.

Manufactured using upcycled turpentine-derived materials originating from the paper industry, Sylvamber brings together high olfactive performance and a more considered approach to ingredient sourcing.

Sylvamber is a superior, higher-impact alternative to Timbersilk and ISO E Super, offering greater woody-amber intensity, diffusion and lasting presence.

Its elevated performance is attributed to a higher proportion of the highly desirable gamma isomer, with Sylvamber containing approximately 22% gamma isomers compared with around 15% in Timbersilk and 8% in ISO E Super.

It is further enhanced with complementary high-impact materials to create a fuller, more powerful and more persistent effect.

Despite its impressive performance within a fragrance composition, Sylvamber can appear surprisingly quiet when smelled directly from the bottle.

As a long-lasting, substantive base-note material, its character is best appreciated after appropriate dilution or once incorporated into a finished blend, where its smooth cedarwood, amber and velvety woody qualities become more expansive and defined.

Sylvamber is highly versatile and may be used to enhance the odour quality, volume and longevity of a wide range of fragrance styles.
