About this material
An extremely important component in perfumery, beautifully soft and easier to use than Aldehyde C8; Aldehyde C10 is one of the most functional of the saturated Aliphatic Aldehydes.
C10 is most commonly used in combination with higher aldehydes; providing substantially good floral reinforcement to your blends.
This fatty C10 Aldehyde is best used to compliment floral blends comprising of Rose, Iris & Jasmine, but is just as effective in other aldehydic bouquets and citrus compositions, where diffusion and power are really apparent.

Creative ideas to explore
Creative directions, not tested formulas.Polished petals
With rose and soft floral notesExplore an aldehydic floral silhouette around a simple rose accord. Compare the opening and later impression with an unchanged floral reference; decide whether the effect feels airy, waxy or abstract before adding further complexity.
Citrus in white
With bergamot and a musk directionBuild a study around citrus brightness and a restrained musk backdrop. Let the aldehydic material be the changing variable, then note whether it supports the peel impression or takes the sketch towards a more abstract clean accord.
A softer frame
With sandalwood and powdery notesSet the listed aldehydic character against a soft wood or powder direction. Compare the balance through the evaluation rather than judging only the first impression, and keep any successful version simple enough to understand what changed.
