This material, with its deceptive power, can significantly impact a blend by serving as an exceptional fixative and adding remarkable depth and substance to almost any fragrance.
When used together with natural oakmoss, this material can create a highly effective imitation of a traditional Fougère.
However, it should be noted that it is not a complete substitute for oakmoss on its own.
Nevertheless, this beautifully versatile material plays a vital role as one of the key odour components in Mousse de Chene Absolu, otherwise known as oakmoss absolute.
Compared to Veramoss by IFF, Evernyl by Givaudan is more cost-effective and delivers a cleaner, fresher interpretation of traditional oakmoss.
Without the restrictions of Oak Moss, the material is a crsytalline powder. notably long-lasting and offers incredible fixative properties to any blend.
For the untrained nose, Evernyl may be difficult to detect in isolation.
