It also proves exceptional in a diverse range of non-floral fragrances.
Despite its strong staying power, it maintains a balanced presence even in its pure form.
Lasting approximately a day on a smelling strip, it functions as a middle to base note ingredient and offers fixative properties as well.
Possessing a persistent, sweet floral aroma with leafy characteristics and a rich balsamic undertone.
It finds utility in perfumery for various applications, such as enhancing Clary Sage variations in Fougeres, Chypres, Lavender compositions and serving as a green-floral undertone and variant in Gardenia or Tuberose. Its compatibility with Dimethyl Benzyl Carbinol allows for the creation of Elderflower notes (Sureau), while also contributing well-rounded undertones in Honeysuckle and similar fragrances.
