About this material
Ambercore is a soft woody amber with a natural richness.
Used on its own or in combination with more expensive amber materials such as Ambroxan and Cedramber; it harmonises beautifully.
Perfect for blending with delicate Muguet and Citrus compositions, it can be used in large amounts, with a recommended use level of up to 40%, that is able to bring to life a natural spirit in all fragrance compositions.
Beautiful, velvety and delicate, similar to Cedramber, yet more cost effective.
Substantive and widely used for boosting the fragrance in detergent formulations.
Commonly used in Amber, Chypre, Citrus, Fern, Fougere, Muguet, Lily of the Valley and Oriental compositions.
For the untrained nose, Ambercore may be difficult to detect in isolation.

A softer grain
With sandalwood and a musk directionSet the woody material beside a softer wood reference, then compare a restrained musk variation. Decide whether your concept needs creamy texture, dry definition or more space between its parts before expanding the accord.
