Coumarin 10
Coumarin is a crystallised solid in its pure form. Here we provide a pre-dissolved solution in DPG for your convenience. We do however have the pure crystal form available here if you prefer to work with the pure form of this material.
Coumarin possesses the delicate characteristic sweet odour of Tonka absolute in which it makes up the majority constituent and is probably best known for being the first synthetic material to be used in the art of perfumery.
Extensively used in perfumery to support herbaceous odours, Lavender, Rosemary, Oakmoss, Citrus oils and as a fixative in numerous types of fragrances.
