Acetanisole
Acetanisole has been described as having a pleasant yet slightly harsh aroma reminiscent of hay, with floral and animal-like undertones.
It brings to mind scents like Hawthorn, Mimosa, and Heliotrope. It remains relatively stable when used in soap and similar mild-alkaline conditions.
This ingredient is commonly found in fragrances with a woody-floral profile such as Cassie, Mimosa, Fougere, Chypre, and New-Mown Hay, as well as in herbaceous citrus fragrances.
