PTBCHA Woody Acetate
Para Tertiary Butyl Cyclohexyl Acetate (PTBCHA)
PTBCHA is sweet, floral and woody. It blends well with Ionones, in particular Lillial and enriches the odour quality of fragrances for functional products.
A highly versatile perfume material, that is widely utilised in perfumery alongside Ionones, Cedarwood and both floral and non-floral perfume chemicals.
It is commonly employed as a blender or modifier in various fragrance types, ranging from woody to floral, such as Pine and Rose.
It’s success in the perfume industry over the last few decades has been remarkable, making it a preferred choice for soap and other low-cost fragrances that require larger volumes.

Anis Dadou –
Thought of mainly as a functional ingredient (and indeed along in a 2:1 ratio with Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol will make familiar soap base notes), a very ‘clinical’ woody note, quite sweet, and dominating, while also not projecting much. Easy to overdo, car airfreshener wood smell
