Isobutavan D
Isobutavan has a sweet, creamy, vanilla-like aroma, often described as having white chocolate, cream soda, or soft apricot nuances.
Less powdery and discolouring than Ethyl Vanillin and Vanillin but discolouration is problematic in white soap fragrances where usage levels exceed 2%.
Provides a more creamy “thickening” effect than the other Vanillin’s.
Some may find a slight dairy note, similar to the “vomit” class of butyls, but this is generally not a strong or unpleasant smell.
